My name is Tara Tamayo.  I am a internet network marketer and coach.

I began Network Marketing in Sept of 2003, however, I was still working a full time job as a Radiographer. My journey started due to financial strain and I just knew that I was going to come into this and blow everyone out of the water within no time! My excitement was there and I was continually pumped up and encouraged by my upline. There were several big time money makers within our company and I’d have to say, when I found out how well some were actually doing my jaw hit the ground! Needless to say, I began following their lead and trying to duplicate everything they told me to do.

Let’s see! What haven’t I done would be a little easier than this….. I have made numerous cold calls, door to door sales, passed out flyers (in laundry mats, businesses, malls, fairs, expos…), purchased 100′s of business cards, which are still starring at me! I can’t even begin to tell you the amount of money that I put into advertising and materials, most of which was a complete waste!

At one point I was so desperate for leads, I opened up the phone book and started calling every number. Then, I turned to the business section and called asking them for a fax and email to the office manager. A whole lot of work for little to no payout!

For the amount of time and energy that I spent really trying to work by business. I was not having very much success at all. There came a point when I threw up my hands and said I was done…ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!

Through talking with my upline I learned that there were a few who chose to do strictly internet marketing. Now I kinda know my way around the internet but I began to study up on different techniques for marketing. I was doing a lot of this on my own which is very time consuming. I spent more time studying and trying to master the internet rather than actually getting out my information and being productive.

THEN……. I SAW THE LIGHT!

I came in contact with a multimillionaire network marketer. He was an internet guru! During my very first conversation, that literally lasted probably about 5-10 minutes, I was totally impressed! Here’s why… he had several phones ringing nonstop. Every few seconds he would tell me, “Please hold for just a min.” I could still here him in the background answering the phones and directing people on their next step in the sign up process. I asked him, “How many leads do you get within a day?” He answered, with a laugh, “300-500″.  I was completely stunned! Not only did he help me see why my business was failing but also showed me where I was failing as a leader.

The days following I took on my business with a completely new approach. I began to see an improvement in myself, my marketing strategies, leads, and best of all….$$$$$$ in the bank!
